Mission Statement
Trinity Day School’s purpose is to provide the young children in our community a loving, Christ-centered environment where they may grow, develop, learn and be equipped for future education. We believe in using a child-centered approach to learning with the teacher as role model and guide. Teachers will be responsible for providing learning opportunities for his/her age level children and will enable each child to learn at his/her own pace.
Service Projects
Trinity Day School is a ministry of Trinity United Methodist Church, and we believe it is important to teach children about service to others. Throughout the year, we will participate in a variety of service projects that provide outreach to our community. Collecting items for the local SPCA, United Ministries of Sumter, and local missions to the Sumter Community.

Health & Safety Procedures
Children who are too ill to participate in the activities of the Day School should remain in the comfort of their own home. Please do not bring your child to school if they have fever or demonstrate other symptoms of illness. If, during the course of the school day, the teacher feels your child is too ill to remain at school, you will be called to pick up the child.
Your child should be free of symptoms (i.e. fever, vomiting, diarrhea, thick nasal discharge) for 24hrs before returning to school. A suspicious rash or eye irritation should be diagnosed by a doctor before bringing your child to school. Cooperation with this policy will hopefully reduce contagious illnesses within the school.

Parent Volunteers
We encourage and appreciate parent involvement throughout the school year. Numerous opportunities to be apart or your child's preschool years are available.
